Cao Cao and her cub Tao Tao in the wild at Wolong, southwest China’s Sichuan Province.
Wolong National Nature Reserve launched a training project of releasing baby pandas held in captivity to the wild since July 2003. Tao Tao, the first baby panda born in the training base, gained the ability to live in the wild.
